Corrections policy
DryHomeLab aims to publish accurate, well-sourced information. When a factual error is identified, we correct it transparently.
What counts as a factual error
A factual error on DryHomeLab includes:
- An incorrect number, rate or calculation result
- A misattributed source
- A claim that contradicts the cited source
- An outdated tariff rate that has not been updated
What is not a factual error
- Disagreement with editorial judgement or tone
- A preferred alternative framing of a topic
- Opinions about which calculator or method is "best"
How we correct errors
When a factual error is confirmed, we update the page, add a note to the corrections section and record the correction date. We do not silently delete or rewrite pages to hide errors.
How to report an error
If you believe a page on DryHomeLab contains a factual error, please contact us with the page URL, the specific claim and your source. We review all reports and respond where we can.
